"After completing my welding apprenticeship, I had no support to buy a welding machine. I presented my situation to the HEED Foundation and they were able to purchase one for me. Now I work with my own machine and able to pay my bills from the money I earn from jobs. I'm very grateful to HEED!"

“When I heard HEED was in town and needed volunteers, I was curious what they were about. I have been working with HEED since as a volunteer and I feel a sense of accomplishment and responsible for lives that are being changed in my community. I hope to work with them for many years to come. They are doing well needed work for my community and we are very appreciative."
