HEED Foundation Launched to Support Children and Empower Communities

The Health, Education and Entrepreneurship Development (HEED) Foundation was established with a mission to support children from underprivileged homes and create opportunities for sustainable community development.

Founded by US-based Ghanaian physician Dr. Addae Opoku Amoako, the Foundation is committed to improving lives through education support, healthcare initiatives, and entrepreneurship empowerment programs.

Speaking during the launch of the Foundation in Koforidua, Dr. Amoako explained that HEED was created to help young people build meaningful and productive futures. He emphasized the importance of giving children access to basic educational needs while also equipping individuals with skills that can help them become self-reliant.

As part of its mission, the Foundation aims to support students in underserved communities by providing assistance with essential school needs. In addition, HEED will introduce entrepreneurship training programs designed to empower people with practical skills to create jobs for themselves and contribute positively to society.

Community leaders and stakeholders present at the launch commended the initiative and expressed confidence that the Foundation would have a lasting impact on many lives.

The HEED Foundation continues to focus on its three core pillars — Health, Education, and Entrepreneurship — with the vision of building stronger communities and creating opportunities for future generations. The Health, Education and Entrepreneurship Development (HEED) Foundation was established with a mission to support children from underprivileged homes and create opportunities for sustainable community development.
