OBJECTIVES

Entrepreneurship

  • Empower youth who have interest in vocational training
  • Assist youth who have completed tertiary education to establish their own start-up businesses after undergoing capacity training
  • Assist individuals who wish to establish their own businesses and demonstrate need for financial help

PROGRAMS

BRING YOUR ASPIRATIONS TO LIFE WITH HEED

This program aims to identify 5 hardworking students, youth, or adults who aspire to enter vocational school or as an apprentice for a vocation (welding, carpentry, sewing, hair dressing, etc.), have proof that they are unable to afford entry into their vocation of choice, and gain entry with help of HEED.

HEED APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR

  • This is an incentive program for apprentices or business owners being supported by HEED to strive for hard work in their chosen careers by awarding one award each year.
  • If you are a master or mistress of trade with a HEED sponsored apprentice, you may nominate him/her for this award by sending us an email for a nomination form or if you are a HEED sponsored apprentice and want to be nominated, please ask your master/mistress to email or contact us for a nomination form

HEED MASTER/MISTRESS OF APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR

  • This is an incentive program for masters/mistresses of apprentices to strive for the best in teaching apprentices the work they have been entrusted with by awarding one award each year.
  • If you know a master or mistress of trade that deserves such an award, you may nominate him/her for this award by sending us an email for a nomination form or
  • if you are a master or mistress of trade and want to be nominated, please ask your apprentices to email or contact us for a nomination form.
