HEED Foundation Empowers Dodi Traditional Area Through Soap-Making Training and Teenage Pregnancy Education
HEED Foundation successfully carried out a community outreach program in the Dodi Traditional Area, bringing together community members and students for an impactful day of entrepreneurship training and health education.
During the outreach, members of the community received practical training in liquid soap production. Participants were taken through the step-by-step process of making quality liquid soap using affordable and locally available materials. The training was designed to equip community members with a valuable income-generating skill that can promote self-employment and improve household livelihoods.
As part of the program, students were also educated on teenage pregnancy. The health education session focused on the causes, consequences, prevention, and the importance of making responsible life choices. Students were encouraged to prioritize their education, seek guidance when faced with challenges, and make informed decisions that will positively shape their future.
