Kumasi – (A/R), September 1st – The Health, Education, and Entrepreneurship Development (H.E.E.D). Foundation, on Friday September 5. 2017 conducted a health screening at the Ahinsan Community, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. The team of health volunteers checked weight, blood pressure, and glucose.
The exercise was to identify residents who were at risk for developing diabetes, hypertension, and other cardiovascular diseases based on their numbers.

There were local physicians who also came to support the event with hepatitis B testing. Prophetic Faith Church International, the local church in the community also supported the event by providing the venue and distribution of vitamins and other supplements to the participants. In all, over one hundred and thirty residents (130) were screened.
