Ghanaian physician supports children from poor homes

Koforidua (E/R),  Mar 15 -A United States (US)-based Ghanaian Physician, Dr. Adae Opoku Amoako, has set up a Foundation to support the education of children from poor homes.

It would take care in the basic school needs of young people in Asokore in the New Juaben Municipality.

Launching the Health Education Entrepreneurship Development Foundation at a ceremony in Koforidua, Dr. Amoako, said it was his contribution to efforts at helping the youth to lead meaningful lives.

He said it would also engage in entrepreneurial training of the people to assist them to create jobs for themselves and others.

Honorable Nana Agyei-Boateng, the Member of Parliament for New Juaben North, applauded the initiative and said it was going positively affect the lives of many in the area.

He encouraged the youth to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their situation.
