H.E.E.D. FOUNDATION CONDUCTS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WALK

Koforidua, E/R – Ghana, October 27th –

The Health Education and Entrepreneurship Development Foundation (H.E.E.D)on the 27th October 2018, held its first ever breast cancer awareness walk at the Asokore Community center, in Asokore, a town near Koforidua  in the Eastern region.
The event saw several participants, from girls as young as 15 years to adults as old as 60 years, who came to listen to a lecture by one of the HEED foundation volunteer nurses, Mrs. Doris Opuni Owusu. She told the participants to pay much attention to their breasts so they can notice changes when they see them.
Participants were given pink T shirts and 20 braziers were given to the first 20 people who showed up at the events grounds.
This is one of many events regarding breast cancer that the H.E.E.D Foundation will be participating in.
The Director of Health of H.E.E.D Foundation Dr. Adae Opoku Amoako said, the event was successful and encouraged it to continue annually.
